  • I think a lot of them are, because I have seen a whole bunch of those setting along the road with for sale signs on.
  • I believe that they do.
  • Not in my area. Vans, SUV's and trucks abound. Incidentally, pick-up trucks are still the top selling vehicle in the US, so our concern for oil prices seems a little disingenuous.
  • Those are pricey, my friend..I think the people that can afford them in the first place haven't even noticed the increase in gas prices..they're probably among those who think we're better off today, things are going hunky-dorry and life in general couldn't be better! I don't think the word "regret" is in their vocabulary! :(
  • If you need a big vehicle you need one. If you and your wife have 5 kids what are you going to drive? A mini van doesn't get a lot better MPG than a Hummer or Suburban. The SUV can also tow a trailer that can sleep all seven of you. Yes, gas is expensive but the MPG difference isn't that big. If you drive your car 80 MPH on the highway you probably get the same MPG as a Hummer H3 would get at 60. Also measured birth to death a Hummer H3 is BETTER FOR THE PLANET than a Toyota Prius. MPG is better but pollution is much worse The battery and what it takes to make it is very earth un-frendly.
