  • I think you need help from your family in this as well as your faith. Or from your GP or vicar/paster/pastor/church leader. You need to talk as well as prayer. Your faith will help but not on it's own. And no your Gp doesn't have to prescribe anti depressents, he can arrange a councillor. Good luck:)
  • I suffered from mental disease all my life and I have always pray and believed he show me grace and he performed great miracles wihtin my life and give me the strengh not only through depression but after years of having a spirit of hatred which lead me to be exremely violent he delivered my tortured soul as I forget all those who brought great pain in my life as a child and young adult. Yes from time to time I get deperssed that I didn't marry my true love and never went to college but he gave me to wonderful daughters who I sent to college and they made all I went through worthwhile. Your peace will come.. Keep in faith and praying and he will give you unspeakable joy!
  • I have gone thru the same thing. Depression is caused when we focus on ourselves and all that is wrong....I honestly think that when we take our minds of ourselves and reach out to help others that depression will disappear. I have done that and all of that depression has disappeared. GOD is good....HE has helped me thru it all!!!! Be thankful for all you have and thank the LORD for it all......I believe when you are grateful and realize how blessed you are....you can't be depressed.
