    I have never been to one, but I researched what one was after reading your question. It sounds an awful lot like what we were doing on Boston Common back in the early seventies. After reading the following information from the Mini-Manual, I decided that I could not attend any of these events. I don't think I could go a week or more without power tools! :-)

    "Although each event is more or less anarchic, practical guidelines have been reached through the consensus process and are documented in the Mini-manual. Items which are strongly discouraged at gatherings include firearms and alcohol. Other items are also discouraged including radios, tape players, sound amplifiers, and power tools."

    Not an official one. But I used to go to Moon Tribe... Full moon dessert parties that last about 2-3 days. Has kind of the same principles of peace and love. I really wanna go to Burning Man...
