I liked the fight in the church! I don't remember which parts confused me, I would have to watch it again. Those guys are really strange, are they in the game? The bad ones I mean.

I believe it was Yazoo and Tifa and they were fighting in the Midgar slum church, where Cloud first met Aeris. Marlene, barrett's daughter was also there, as was a chest of materia. The guys were Yazoo, the big idiot, some other guy, and Kadaj, with Kadaj, I believe, being the one who transformed into sephiroth, upon combining jenova's cells with his own. No, those guys are completely new, though they might be referred or introduced into future games or prequels.

You can't forget the main characters can you? There was Barret, the big gruff black guy with the gun on his arm, Vincent, the creepy cool guy with the tattered red cape, Yuffie, the black haired ninja girl, Cid, the blonde older guy with cigar and the spear, and of course, Denzel, the son of Cloud and Tifa. Yes, Yazoo was the crybaby. :)

I understand, for my bro played final fantasy 7 MANY times, and though I never played or beat it myself, I know the game really well, as well as the movie. I think denzel might be biologically their son, but he could be adopted. I am not sure to whom you are referring, but it could have been Rufus, the new president of Shinra. What did he look like?

Red hair would be Reno, I believe. He hangs out with a bald guy with glasses right? That would be Rude. Reno and Rude, quite the pair. Yes, for anime is animated manga, with manga being japanese comic books or graphic novels.
