Don't you wish you could downrate especially egregiously stupid questions and answers?

You're reading Someone with a Gray bag avatar with a question mark inside it, keeps deducting points from my questions, yet I have no way of seeing why-person never leaves a comment, and its avatar on my activity screen is untraceable-to me anyway. How can this be fair?

That doesn't seem right-shouldn't we have a right to face our accusers? If a problem exists, how can it be ironed out-this seems like a major flaw in the system to me-i can just go helter skelter through the site attacking people for no reason and know I can't be called to answer as to my rationale??? Hmmmmm

Yeah??? well I can see what you have said-and if you demoted me-these peopler are untraceable-is my point-do you not get that? I can tolerate someone not agreeing or not liking me-but to do it anonymously is cowardice!~!!!

This has been covered many times over in past questions, blogs, etc. I'm not going to go into it all - but it's better that it's anonymous. And, I'll say it again - 2 downrates is not "running helter skelter through the site attacking" you. And - there is a limit to the number of times one user can rate another user in a certain time period. If you really feel you have an issue - I suggest emailing the admin staff about it - not posting questions about it.

Indeed, the subject has been discussed endlessly for a very long time on Answerbag. It's not likely that you're going to be able to say anything new that hasn't been said about 100,000 times. Jennifer is being polite by telling you to email the admins. The bottom line is more like "take it or leave it", this is not going to change.
