  • Actually, I think you should be alot older than 18 to be able to understand the risk you're taking. Whoa on the bad rating!
  • Because society has to draw the line somewhere, and has chosen to draw the line at the point where almost everybody is physically mature and therefore at least physically able to meet the challenges of skydiving, not freeze up, pull the wrong cord by accident, close their eyes in fright ten feet from the ground and land blind... and for another thing, until you're 18, you're some adult's financial responsibility if you hurt yourself. Fuhgeddaboutit.
  • The true answer to this is that you have to be 18 to sign a legal contract, and the skydiving company needs you to sign a contract releasing them from all liability if you die doing it. Has absolutley nothing to do with maturity. All legal BS.
