  • In equal amounts of the drug? It's hard to tell. A 50 mg Tramadol pill won't do much for causing euphoria (it takes >150 mg to really kick in). While 50 mg of hydrocodone (the opiate part of Vicodin) would knock you on your ass. Usually, Vicodin only comes in 5/325, 5/500 or 10/750. The first number is the mg of hydrocodone, and the second is acetaminophen (Tylenol). Keep in mind, with popping Vics to get high, your liver is going to keel over cause of the overdose of acetaminophen, making you sick and eliminating the fun of it. Also, don't take more than 300 mg of Tramadol at once, it can cause seizures. I would say 4 Tramadols (200 mg) is the same high as 2 Vicodins (10-20 mg hydrocodone. Tramadol has a much long half-life than hydrocodone, so while the euphoria might not be as strong, it lasts much longer. To answer your question, yes, both cause mild euphoria.
  • Depending on doses, tramadol is like taking xanax with vicoden.
  • Tramadol does amsolutely nothing. I think you may have tricked yourself into feeling something... but it does nothing. Depending on how much Vicodine u have taken before... I got up to 30 a day of the 10/750 presribed by my doc. Of course he wasn't prescribing that on the bottle, but he was giving me 150,10/750 pills with 2 refills once a month. You do the math.On the bottle he had 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. Most pharmacies will not refil to soon but the Wagreens I went to had no problem. Long story short, I went on a binge and now am starting into withdrawal hell. Last nigh was the sweats, tonight should me leg cramps and muscle aches to the point i want to crawl out of my skin. Before being prescribed Vicodine i had Ultram (Tramadol) I tried taking it earlier....NOTHING. U Can't Take more than 300 mg at most.
