you are totally wrong and an f ing drug addict i take tramadol and have been for 7 yrs now with no major side effects for my periferal neuropathy and it has been a miracle drug for me my restless leg was so bad i was going to put a gun to my head untill i found tramadol.By the way people my problems were caused by alcohol abuse that causes the coating of your nerves to wear away. alcohol is a very big scurge on our society i take 3 a day with ecellent results you must eat when you take them and drink at least 2 8 ounce glasses of water to keep from getting toxic you dont want to take ultram because of the tylenol in it and have not had to increse my dosage so its ignorant dumbshits like you and the other abusers here that make it hard for the people that really need it like me to survive to get it keep you ignorant skewed oppinon to yopur self you moron

dude, every single person on here talks about how they are dope heads or alcoholics...seriously??? what about the people that want to know the difference only because they don't like taking pills and want the least crazy and addictive one. I would take one of these pills a day and only if i had a broken freaking leg.....get some rehab and help yourself.

All i know is i have to take them for fibromyogia and if you don't have them you have very bad withdraws, nightmares, chills and body aches, you look like your coming off herion!!! NO i have never ever been on herion but i seen ppl going through the withdraws. It's a horrible pill for different ppl everyone don't have to same system and it just effect everyone different. So stop bashing others for how it makes them feel or how the want it to make them feel, thats what wrong with this world ppl just don't mind their own business. All some of you had to do was just answer the question of how it made you feel and move on. Peole are posting question and asking opinions for a reason. Have a good day.

:) sooo..jus from my own experience ive taken up to 8 tramadols at a time and it was almost like using speed. i felt great, had a lot of energy and was in a realy happy mood..yesterday i took 4 tramadol and 2 midol for my period and oooohhh weeeee, i dont know if it was just that combination but i felt high! literaly! ..its probably diffrent for everyone depending on your body. but i can say tramadol can make you feel pretty good if you take enough of it..just and fyi, dont take alot of tramadol if you plan on going to sleep. i felt tired last nite at 2am but when i went to try and sleep..it just wasnt working!

One Tramadol (50 mg) is enough to make me feel very mellow and calm throughout the day. Two tablets gives me a buzz that is sometimes pleasant, sometimes a bit strange. The good news is, it really helps my shoulder pain. I have had Vicodin before, which takes effect in about 15 minutes and gives a euphoria that lasts for a couple of hours. The Tramadol high/calmness lasts all day, pretty much.

I find it odd when people say it does nothing, since it depends on the person taking it.

first off,hi,im getting tired of people dissing tramadol and giving all these false allegations that tramadol sukz, tramadols not fun,not abusable.there crazy.tramadol is a exellent alternative to a bag of heroin off the street i swear.i take 600mgs at a time sometimes 7 and when i do i feel like i snorted an oxy 40.i would compare the doses i take with that of 40mg oxycontin with no tolerance.tramadol gets me high high high everyday and keeps me happy not deppressed like other opiates.these people that are dissing it are taking outrageously low doseges.guess what, your right,100 mg wont get you high,of course!.but go up into the 4 5 6 hundred mg range at once and i gaurentee youll be saying, oxy what?,oxy who?,never heard of it.tramadol is the underrated mvp of the year for people like me who just love to feel great 24 7.whatever im in my mid 20s now.nooone can tell me what to do.im the shit. go hard today, cant worry bout the past cuz that was yesterday, ima put it on the line cuz its my time my time my time,if you wit me lemme hear you say. guess what time it is my my my time better check your i phone tell em that its our time i dont even need a watch i dont even need a clock every time i walk in it feels like me o clock yea me o clock every time i checked niggas dont meseare up and try to blame the pyrex, ima do it bigger than a 5x cant ride wit a L so i dont drive lex, game so sik of me so full of trickory, nursery rhymes and hickory dickory blowin that sour the hood call it hickory, biggie puffy busta VICTORY

Tramadol is a non narcotic so you may not feel euphoric, Vicodin is a opioid narcotic-it is hydrocodone and that will make you feel "high", if you abuse them, But dont abuse them though because the are addictive and can have fatal side affects, so play it smart.

In equal amounts of the drug? It's hard to tell. A 50 mg Tramadol pill won't do much for causing euphoria (it takes >150 mg to really kick in). While 50 mg of hydrocodone (the opiate part of Vicodin) would knock you on your ass. Usually, Vicodin only comes in 5/325, 5/500 or 10/750. The first number is the mg of hydrocodone, and the second is acetaminophen (Tylenol). Keep in mind, with popping Vics to get high, your liver is going to keel over cause of the overdose of acetaminophen, making you sick and eliminating the fun of it. Also, don't take more than 300 mg of Tramadol at once, it can cause seizures. I would say 4 Tramadols (200 mg) is the same high as 2 Vicodins (10-20 mg hydrocodone. Tramadol has a much long half-life than hydrocodone, so while the euphoria might not be as strong, it lasts much longer. To answer your question, yes, both cause mild euphoria.

I am a recovered opiate /alcoholic ,i was given tramadol, well guess what ? I am now addicted and cannot stop,my Dr said they were safe ! Pffffffffffft,i have taken between 13 or 17 today in a 8 hour period most i have taken so far
just to get the high(yes they will make you high) not as strong as a percocet high but lasts longer and i enjoy it better plus dont even have to screw with the extraction of acetamenaphine. So those who call BS on the guy taking 30 a day you dont know what your talking about, addiction and tolerance level's rise beyond belief sometime's.My advice to anyone who has these pills and has not taken them yet. Flush them down the toilet,by the way i think the klonopin i take during the day is the only thing that keeps me from having seizures from this shit.

Hey to be honest here in Malaysia i get them more easily than i can any other pain killer. Im talking about NSAID, codiene with paracetomal e.t.c. They are wonderfull i take them for a hit and also i take them for pain managment. The thing is they have really bad side effects from tounge swelling, headaches to sleepiness and twitches. I would say if you want to have fun take at least 200 MG but after the first dose you need to increase it sometimes as the effects are different depending on if you use habiutually or not. ActuallY affects me differently sometimes euphoria, rushes, most common. Oh and dont plan to have sex with them your knob is like a dead donkey door nail (yeah you can get it up but.....).

Take it but if you can get something better get it if you are looking for recreational drugs. Mainly i think it is a great painkiller and has help me a lot i only use it for recreational use if i am bored and need cheap thrills. Yeah not that great consider the shitty come down i have had so definalty not a drug to abuse for me.

I'm almost 60 y.o. and have worked at fairly hard labor in Mexico for the last 10 yrs. I'm familiar with almost every drug. I like Tramadol cuz 3 caps of 50mg a day takes away my aches and pains and it is a very effective antidepressant for me. I usually wake up at 2 am with various aches, take 50mg and wake up again at 6 am in a good mood and no aches. I take another with my coffee which gives me a slight buzz in an hour or so. I take my last one during lunch. Sometimes I take 2 caps to renovate the high but if I take any later than 6 pm it affects my sleep. Normally it doesn't affect my sleep at all and I wake up refreshed. It's a pretty mild drug buzz -wise but I love it's antidepressant properties. It doesn't make me nod off nor manic. It's slightly addictive but less so than codeine and it's big brothers. The withdrawal from everything is proportional to the high but with the Big Boys (heron down to nubain you pay 10x in kicking pain for the pleasure of the high). This is just how I react, everyone is different I guess (but a gorilla on your back is still in the monkey family). P.S. come visit Mahahual Mx.

Vicodin helped me, at first it made me drowsy, nauseated and a bit of euphoria, but after being on it for a few days, that went away, and i was just feeling relief. (albeit not total relief, but enough!) - i was taking 5mg pills 1 every 4-6 hours, and then saw the surgeon and after he did my knee exam he prescribed 5mg of vicodin 1-2 every 4-6 hours not to exceed 8 in a day. He also gave me etodolac which i think has been helping as well. With the relief i received from those, and the thigh strengthing i have been doing, i was finally able to hold my leg up and use my crutches! Anyway - i havent over taken the medicine or anything, but i did get upset when i took them as perscribed, and the doctor gave me a script for tramadol instead.

I have a torn ACL, Meniscus and MCL...

Previously i took tramadol for migranes when i was younger, and it helped a lot - i dont remember all the side effects or how much i was on, but it worked out well for me. For the last 2 years, i have been on Celexa - and shortly after starting my celexa - i was perscribed tramadol for headaches again, and had a very strange reaction - which the pharmacist likend to a mild seritonin syndrome.

So when i saw what the doc perscribed today, i freaked. called in and left him a message about my previous reaction, but after talking to the pharmacist - i called the doc back and left another message explaining that after speaking with the pharmacist, i was going to try the tramadol again. So tonight i took one tramadol - 50mg - very little pain relief achieved, and weird drugged feeling. I also feel sleepy and restless at the same time. I want to sleep but when i close my eyes, my eyeballs twitch. :(

Tramadol In Too High Of Amounts Will Cause You To Have A Seizure And Die So I Wouldn't Recomend Trying To Get High On Tramadol Or Any Narcotic! I Hope You Was Asking Just For Knowledge. Drugs Are Bad! I'm A Former Drug Addict So I Would Know Tramadol Almost Took My Life!

One guy told me he liked to sniff vinegar bottles to get high. He would do anything to get high. Said that a couple of times he would go into a public bathroom and get down and sniff the urinals. Said he just loved the peaceful mellow feeling he got from doing it. Especially if the last fellow that used the urinal was from Sweden. I don't get that, but he said it was better.

I'm immune to the effects of tramadol. It doesn't dull any of my pains. I might as well replace tramadol with Tic-Tacs, for all the good it would do. I'm immume to most other drugs, too. I take 150mg amitriptyline at night and it doesn't do much other than sort the depression (it doesn't make me sleepy or anything). I think it's because I'm hypersensitive. My immunity to certain methods of pain relief and other treatments is getting very annoying. I can't even get dental work done the normal way, because sedatives and local anaesthetic are like taking a glass of water, so I have to have general anaesthetic if I need dental fillings done. I get so frustrated when I'm in the hospital, nearly screaming in pain and the doctors offer me a tablet. Because if local anaesthetic doesn't work on me, I can't see too many tablet-form drugs helping me out either...

Tramadol does amsolutely nothing. I think you may have tricked yourself into feeling something... but it does nothing. Depending on how much Vicodine u have taken before... I got up to 30 a day of the 10/750 presribed by my doc. Of course he wasn't prescribing that on the bottle, but he was giving me 150,10/750 pills with 2 refills once a month. You do the math.On the bottle he had 1-2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours. Most pharmacies will not refil to soon but the Wagreens I went to had no problem. Long story short, I went on a binge and now am starting into withdrawal hell. Last nigh was the sweats, tonight should me leg cramps and muscle aches to the point i want to crawl out of my skin. Before being prescribed Vicodine i had Ultram (Tramadol) I tried taking it earlier....NOTHING. U Can't Take more than 300 mg at most.

i take tramadol for a herniated disk, but now also recreationally. i have to say the first time i took more than i was prescribed to try it out came out to 150 mg (3 - 50 mg pills) i felt the happiest i've ever ever felt in my life. like everything was amazing and going great, over all i had all this motivation to keep doing stuff, crazy euphoria, loss of apetite, felt extremely calm and just blissful. the interesting thing i found out actually is that the effect for the pills only really kicks in for me hard after a ciggarette? does this happen to anyone else?

Now at this point i've been taking these pills for about 7 months. They are non narcotic however, they are synthetic opiates which prove to be addictive as well. My tolerance has risen, and i am feeling a bit more friendly than i should to opiates. There was a point where i was also popping them mindlessly, counting pills, and itching and waiting for them, looking forward to popping them -- that to me indicates signs of dependence if anything. my advice is to space your dosage out if you have these pills available to you. I am a lot better now at managing these. Good luck to you!

Tramadol through my experience is not as intense but it does last longer. It is very easy to develop a tolerence much like vicodin. Please, anyone thinking about using this don't and, do not try to substitute Vicodin with Tramadol. Tramadol is Extremely habit forming, for anyone like me that has been a repeat opioid Junkie, Tramadol can be very hard to stop! I was up to over 30- 50MG tablets a day (1500MG a day!!! scary for me to look at it typed out). Before I stopped I would literally eat 10-15 in the morning (biting every one of them in half because I believe they were time released, More intense, wow that's terrible) Horrible, these pills have a VERY strong taste not bland like Vicodin! I would then around mid day take another 5-10 and then later early evening take another 5-10... The worst opiate for me ever as far as how fast and dangerous my tolerance was getting (under 6 months of using it) and I have been off them for 4 days and I havent slept at all, end doesnt look near but being drug free is here now and I know that every second that passes brings me closer to the end of these withdrawals. Way worse WD than Vicodin, and I had a huge Vic addiction that I also did cold turkey 2 times (prob. because I was more addicted to the Tramadol... 3 is a charm though and I wont look back, Only at the WITHDRAWAL because I always want to remember how I NEVER will put myself, family, finances, ANYTHING... second to something so horrible again... Opiates are a very scary thing to me!!! very scary!!!

I find tramadol does ease some pain and swelling....I get no feelings of euphoria from it...but I only take 37.5 mg of it every 4-6 hours...I am taking it to ease pain problems in my hip, leg, and ankle from being hit by a bus...I don't take any drug recreationally. My doctor also gave me Oxycodone to take..which does cause a mild euphoric feeling..but I don't care for it, even though it stops the pain as well (it does make my skin extremely itchy).

i find myself taking 6-8 tramadols three times a day. i go threw at least 500 pills in a months time. ive been doing this now for over six month.well actually eight. i cant stop taking them and if i try i feel like im literally gonna crawl out of my own skin. i cant do anything withourt them. the shame is i told my doc that i did noy want a opiate because i have a problem with them and he gave me this and now that im abusing it i am more scared of coning off it than i was of methadone. i started with 3 at a time and worked my self up to this mind blowing habit. i really dont know what to do. i have to work and this drug is affecting my sex kife at home. things gotta change. is there a drug out there than can help me off this shit?

it can give you euphoria. for some it gives the feeling you are wired and ready to go for ever kind of like meth. I am addicted to this stuff after my doctor prescribed it for chronic pain. It is HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! I just took 17 50 mg tabs we will see what it does to my liver.

Sometimes it gets you really high, especially after taking vikes for too long. They're not nearly as potent as opiods, but they feel similar. I usually take 500 mg to start with, then another 100 a few times the test of the day. They do give you a sort of jittery feeling, and can make it hard to sleep. Oh yeah, this stuff gives you dangerous constipation.

damn,i thought i was the only one... this stuff is dangerous.i've been addicted to it since 14 when i just took some for pain.now,10 years later, i'm on and off,but when i'm off-i dont see any sence in living and think about having that feeling numb and light and sort of happy again. I believe that all people have some hard moments in life and that creates sort of emptyness we all are trying to fill in with something.Someone becomes a pills' addict,someone-an alcoholic, someone just has an eating disorder and so on. It's less hurtful to be a shopoholic or just bitch at everyone, but all i care about-its my inner harmony and tramadol gives me that. Suprisingly,i do well in school, happen to maintain a serious relationships, workout, eat healthy and ... take the pills when noone sees it. I have a good job and life is going pretty well till a moments every now and then when i try to stop... Then,i become nervous, can't sleep, eat, workout and need to fill in my emptiness with something else.i usually would start partying and drinking and meeting many people, which does not lead to any good consequences. So, i would say that tramadol helps me to maintain a stable behaviour and i develop quality of my life, which is all good, except of one detail-it will not last long and i will probably die as soon as my liver...

All, I see a lot of people are having a difficult time on these drugs. If you are dealing with withdrawls or want to wean yourself off them, I would try Kratom. I've been using the stuff (I get it in pill form) for about 6 months. Google the name. Kratom.org is good, unfortunately kratom.pro is the only good place that has the pill form (kratom.org will have it after the new year sometime). The tea is horrible. Anyway this is not a sales pitch or anything. The stuff has really helped me a lot.

It shouldn't be about getting high...at all... But yes, Tramadol does give you a very high euphoric feeling...It takes effect about 15 minutes after ingestion...I use it for back pain and it helps a lot...It's better than vicodin in my opinion....

Never exceed the dose as prescribed by your doctor though...As with any medication it can pose serious risks and side affects if abused...If you have an addictive personality, stick with Tylenol or Advil...

    Hope this helps..

i am a student with a horrible toothache i need a root canal but i do not have insurance or money to pay out of pocket my only hope is mexico for their cheaper prices. I found tramadol and it is a life saver. Vicodin works wonders but i ran out of that. Tramadol took away the pain and gave a smooth high to where you do not act out of character, noone can tell you are on anything its mainly internal. You feel light happy and basically in a good mood for a long time. 2-50 mg is what i take i do not go over, just once but it was too much high for me, i ended up having to sit still with my eyes closed for 20 min because i was overwhelmed. Other than that one time i only take 2 whenever my toothache comes up again and it lasts for half a day which is the only down side, you cant sleep so dont take it if you plan on sleeping. This is where i also found an additional plus to tramadol, it helps me study better and stay awake for those all nighters. It kept me engaged in my studies and awake, i also am able to do household chores merrily and efficiently. I am aware that it is highly addictive but ihave not felt a need what so ever for the reason that i use it perhaps once every two weeks or so and i think that is pretty reasonable for anyone wanting to take it for recreational use. As for pain it works wonders and for studying its a help
