  • It was a disaster for the entire world. Because Germany was losing, they let the dangerous terrorist Lenin cross Germany in a sealed railway car so as to cause revolution in Russia. Because our side won and the French and Brits took everything out of Germany that wasn't red hot, nailed down or moving fast, Hitler rose to power on a rising tide of resentment. Because of the threats of Naziism, Fascism and Japanese imperialism, atomic weapons were invented. And Islamo-fascism also learned how to be radical from the Nazis. We should have stayed out of the war. It was worse a Pyrrhic victory (which you can look up on Wikipedia.com).

Weakened the power of every country outside North America while strengthening American power. League of Nations established. Cons: a lot of people died. Germany unfairly punished, Hitler takes advantage of appeasement. League of Nations ignored.
  • It was good in the beginning when the US were neutral, because they could export their goods such as food and firearms to the fighting countries, and made a lot of money throught it. However, it put them at risk, especially when delivering to England. Whilst delivering firearms in the public ship the Lusitania, German U-Boats sunk it, which was a major blow to the American people as so many innocent people died. Then Germany tried to get Mexico to declare war on America and that Germany would help them succeed. The American's found out when they intercepted a telegram. Then Germany declared open sea warfare; sinking any boat in English waters. This destroyed lots of American ships and produce. They decided to join the war on the side of the Allies. Then they lost over 50,000 men.
