I tried it once about 20 years ago, but I'll be darned if I can remember what it tasted like--a little like meat I think, but the person who introduced me to it put it in some Aussie dish she was making, so I'm not sure. I know I liked it though.

I never tasted it, but I figure it must be similar to Marmite, which they have in the UK, so a quite intense, yeast-like taste.

It tastes like beef bullion cubes to me, only it has the consistency of jelly.

I just asked my partner, and he said it tastes like "The blackened, congealed bile of Satan". Clearly, he has no idea what he's talking about.
