I really want to get more flexible in my back and I want to be able to do the splits. What should I do so I can do this?

    back flexability: go into a bridge and hold it for about a minute, but when you do them make sure your legs are straight not bent it will help push it out much and it is more correct

    splits:
    right and left- i know this sucks but you need to sit in them thats about it, what i do it watch a tv show everynight and during the show sit in them then during cummercials stretch it out a little
    center splits- try to do them then, put your elbos on the grownd it will get a deeper stretch then for the last like 5-10 seconds put your hands on your hips itll hurt but push you down more, it is also better to put your hands on your hips when you do your left and right

    erin08 has the right idea. lunges also help a lot with the splits, however, you have to hold them for about thirty seconds. my dance teacher told me that as you stretch, you should feel discomfort, so dont give up!

    Every night before you go to bed put on some relaxation music. Privacy is essential to being able to do the spilts since you'll feel more comfortable and relaxed without people watching you. MAKE SURE YOU SHUT YOUR BEDROOM DOOR. Do some lunges in time to slow music for 5 mins. To start off though do 1-2mins.
