  • God says "You shall have no other god before me" (one of the first of the 10 commandments). So if you feel like dabbling in Scientology, make sure you love Jesus more than Xenu.
  • Does that mean you can have other gods, just as long as they are not before Jesus?
  • I don't think you can...
  • Scientologists will claim that you can to get you in. In fact, in higher levels, you will be taught that Christianity was a myth invented by Xenu and that Jesus was a pedophile. In addition, Scientology does not support the idea of sin, the belief that Jesus died for humanity's sins or even the divinity of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit. So, no. • Absolutely not! This is not just a cult, this is a very dangerous & deadly cult. Total brainwashing goes on here and its all about money. Do some research for yourself, you will find the answers if you just look!
  • No. The two are mutually exclusive.
  • Nope. Jesus is the only way to God the Father.
  • Depends on if you want a real answer or a "PR" answer. CofS (Church of Scn) advertizes itself as "pan denominational" and they indicate that anyone can be any religion they want AND be a Scn'ist. Well, nominally you can and they'll never tell you that you shouldn't believe in Jesus, etc. But here are things that a Christian (or adherent of any other faith in addition to Scn) could expect as a member of CofS: Bumping squarely into Scn's belief in past lives. It's all over Scn. Another thing: The church's semi secret IRS agreement does state that although they allow members to have their other or natal religion (my wording) that they expect the person to eventually, down the line, be ONLY a Scientologist. Another thing a member can expect is to have his schedule scrutinized by CofS personnel. And if going to Sunday service or Mass conflicts with his Scn practice, you'd better believe they are going to say something.
