are you a righty or lefty? right handed guys need to throw harder than left handed. Seventy is not bad in your freshman year if you are a lefty in fact it is great. If you are a righty you still need to gain all you can before you get out of there. A good speed to go by if you are a righty by your 12 grade year for college is mid eighties. if you are a lefty and throwing that by the time you get there you will have more scouts than you would think there. Good luck and don't every stop long toss this is how to get more velocity.

With that velocity and b/a you should be able to go to college... and you still have a few years to go... Work on your junk and make sure you keep your throwing shoulder and arm healthy and you could be going farther than that.... What kinda junk can you throw?

You could try out for your local minor league ball team, and skip the whole college thing. Work your way up the ranks, and see how far you can take it.

If you want to go to college, you'd better pay attention to academic subjects.  Sports are all well and good, but that isn't going to get you anywhere in the Real World.

Start by learning to spell simple words, such as “you”.  Learning proper punctuation and capitalization wouldn't hurt, either.
