How do I change the daytime running lights bulb on a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe?

    Its not as hard as it looks. First open the hood. At the top of the head light assembly are 2 bars (one on each end) rotate the bars and then pull them out. In your hand you will have 2 L shaped rods. Now disconnect the power supply to the 2 bulbs (quick connects snaps on and off very easy) Now set the headlamp assembly aside and below it you have the assembly for the daytime running lights and turn signal. This assembly snaps right out, you will see a plastic bracket right behind the turn signal bulb, take the end of the bracket and push it toward the outside of the vehicle. then you can slide the assebly out and change the bulb (use the 4114 bilb it lasts much longer) I was baffled for a bit and after I found the rods that secure the headlamp assebly I was able to get on with it

    The manual will have the proper procedure. I know 90% of car buyers never read the damn thing but try blowing the dust off and looking it up. Anybody could give you an answer on here, but you can't beat model-specific, manufacturer-endorsed instructions.
