Um Brooklyn is waaaaaaaaaaaaay cheaper and some areas are very nice. Manhattan you can get a two bedroom for maybe 2300, the cheapest.

You can find it cheaper than 2300 Im renting a 3 brd apartment in a private house for 1870 dollar a month in Kensington Brooklyn... Avoid to get any thing in Bedstuy and some other areas... check in the aria first carefully,,,, and listen around...
