I am 32, I have one wisdom tooth that has 'peeked out' and my dentist is DYING to take all 4 of them. The 3 of them are still inside, and 2 of them are WAY up there (can tell by x-rays) I keep telling her no. There is no reason. I am a grown woman, they do not give me problems. I hate the dentist.

You do not need to remove them unless they are causing you trouble or if they are growing in impacted (sideways). It is a VERY difficult procedure for the patient. I had 2 removed a month ago because they were impacted and I am still recovering a bit. If you do get them removed make sure you get knocked out and the surgeon gives you a syringe to clean the hole out until it closes. Food getting stuck in there is very painful.
