yea i get that all the time.... its almost like goigng through a labrynth of dreams. waking up from o0ne and being caught in the next and not knowing it is a dream as well... its almost as if ive gotten lost in them. just last night this occured. i was in a dream i no longer wanted to watch so i decided to wake uop, but it put me in an entirely new dream in wich i thought i was 1/2 awake trying to get up. my arms were paralyzed and all i could see ws my blanket. creepy huh

Yes, it is possible to 'wake up' or rather become as concious as you are when you are awake while asleep and dreaming. This known as 'Lucid Dreaming' or having a 'Lucid Dream'. I have dreams like this quite often. For me, they start like a normal dream, then I spot something that makes me think "This can't be real, I must be dreaming!" I suddenly become concious and feel as if I have woken up within my dream. The world created by my dreaming mind seems as real as the physical world but is free of the limits imposed by Physics. I can then influence the dream at will and play around with the impossibe such as fly like Superman. It's like playing the ultimate free roaming, first person computer game! As a computer gaming console the human brain (hardware)and imagination (software) is vastly superior to any currently available PS3 or Xbox running the best games on the market.
