Some..not all. They can be docile, manipulatable, and "follow-the-party-line no matter what" poor people...they have backers who are filthy rich with rigid idealogies..these backers want no backtalk..no lip..so you can theoretically have a poor guy sit in the Oval Office and play President! :( Don't recommend it. ! Depends on whether or not "we the people" are asleep at the wheel when decision day arrives! :(

You are correct. Politics is about money and power. Doing the right thing does not figure into this equation.

Yea, where have you been living. Thats the way politics is done in the US. I am willing to recant my claim if someone can name one president in the last 50 years who was of modest means as they were elected into the White House. But you have to support your claims with a source.
