    The Hollies. This was Graham Nash's (Crosby Stills and Nash)first band. Here's a link to give you a little band info. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hollies

    Edit: The Osmonds may have covered this song, but it was originally done by The Hollies. I don't, as a rule, count cover versions when asked about old songs. I always try to give the original performer or writer.
