I am having problems with my 1997 ford taurus cassette player. I am trying to use an adaptor so i may use my MP3 player but, the adapter is randomly spat out during play and normaly gets spat out when i try to shove it in after i turn the car on

    i had that problem' an i fixed it' WITH A FOUR POUND HAMMER ' beat the whole dask out of the car' now i have a cd player taped to the console'

    Get a tape adapter that has both spindles geared together. What might be happening is that the take-up reel is not rotating evenly. The cassette deck logic will eject the tape if it detects a problem with the rotation of the spindles
