Don't you ever get tired of celebrities?

I am ALWAYS getting tired of celebrities. What's with Tom Cruise and his scientology? Why can't lindsay lohan just calm down and stop partying all the time. Britney spears? who cares?? she can't even sing. I dont want to hear about the latest break ups. Bad plastic surgery? So and so gained weight? who cares who cares who cares! Alas, this is the kind of rubbish that we buy on the magazine shelves.

Yeah, I get tired of them all, whining that they want 'privacy' whilst pulling stupid stunts to get noticed. I hate they way it's all, well, she looks good for her age, oh my god, lets talk about fo the next year! Wow, you lost weight in six days! Well, good for you, but unlike you, we enjoy eating thanks. Kate Moss is a crack addict, we know, ok? Give it a rest! And kabbalah? So what if Madonna likes it?!

Oh but I do, in more ways than anyone could possibly ever know or care to hear about. I don't even think it is really the celebrities, though to be honest. I mean, yes... they do play a big part, but it the people who make it their self-assigned duty to obsess themselves with them who really make me dislike celebrities. When I hear about a celebrity, and something they have just recently said or done ("Omigawd Lance Bass is Gayyyy!"... okay... and?) I am not going to concern myself with it and scrutinize every little thing. You know, they're people, too, as hard as it may be to believe... When people treat them like gods, it is not unusual to be a little egotistical or controversial. If half of the world became obsessed with me, I'd probably be that way, too. I can't change who they are, so if it bothers me, I just avoid things I know I will encounter those types of things, because God knows it is annoying.

In some ways I feel sorry for them. Paparazzi following them where every they go trying to get photos. People prying into their private lives. I look at the supermarket tabloids and think, "Boy am I glad I am not famous!" They have talents that put them in the public eye. So what? Why does this give us the right to pry into their private lives. Let them earn their money however they do it, remember that they are mere mortals like the rest of us, and, before you pick of the next supermarket scandal sheet, think about how you would feel if the intimate details of your life were plastered all over the place for the world to see.

Celebrities have never been much of an issue for me, although there are a couple that I'm convinced are stalking me, in fact I'm certain I seen my picture once in the "Everyday Average Joe" tabloid. Phil Donahue and Sugar Ray Leonard have been annoying me lately with excessive sms, but other than that it's all good.

Yes, too me they are just regular people with more recognition.

  I find myself getting more tired of their fans.  Whenever I see a question posted here of the form, “Don't you think XXXXX is just the hottest, greatest, sexiest whatever?” (where XXXXX is the name of some popular celebrity) I find myself very strongly tempted to post an answer insulting XXXXX, and casting horrid aspersions on XXXXX's character, integrity, sexual habits, and appearance; just to annoy the fan who posted the question.  That would be terribly unfair, however, since in nearly every such instance, I have no issues with XXXXX; it's XXXXX's sycophantic fan that is annoying me.

I just get sick of hearing and reading about them all the time..I hate shows like ET and Access Hollywood etc..personally it sickens me to hear about a bunch of snot-nosed millionaires liven it up while hundreds of thousands of people in this country can't even get a job..

Yes, as a matter of a fact I am always tired of them. I do not blame them or anything I feel paparatzi(spelling?) is idiotic. I realize they make money doing it but come on...come on...

I'm as guilty as anyone else when it comes to reading up on celeb gossip, but after seeing the same people on the covers of every magazine for numerous weeks it gets old. There seriously has to be more important things going on in the world! There are at least some more interesting, less mentioned celebrities than those whose pictures have been plastered all throughout every single magazine for months now. Brad and Jen are over; so are Nick and Jessica. Let's please talk about something else now! It must suck for them to be followed up on all the time and have most of the America know about their private lives.

i always get tired of them. they complain about being followed but HELLO... they pretty much sign a contract when becoming famous that people will want to see you. id give anything to have people want to know about me. they're ALL a bunch of spoiled little fucking assholes who dont give a shit about anybody but themselves. Most of them are either on drugs and making scenes but then complain when people follow them and put pics of them in magazines. i think that somebody should put them out of they're misery for good even though there is no reason for them to be miserable.fucking bitches. and y the fuck do they get goodie bags full of fucking diamonds and money while there are starving people all over the world. they dont need anything free. in fact they should have to pay extra for shit. i just wish they would all die.

no!! I think is we didnt have celebs there would be nothing wierd to talk about!! The root of most conversations is celebrities and even if we know it is, we always like to think it isnt! Just take it that the press,news and goss lives of celebs were not around what would newspapers do then!!!
