It's all over the news here in Cincinnati, but I didn't feel a thing.

I usually sleep until the alarm goes off at 6, but this morning I woke up at 5:30. I didn't think anything about it until I got to work and everyone was talking about the earthquake. A lot of people were awake at the time and said they felt it. Very wierd. I'm guessing that is what woke me up! (I live in Northern Indiana)

My mirror on the wall rattled so hard it woke me up. I would never even think of an earthquake. (Especially when I'm half asleep!) I just figured it was my cat acting crazy. I found out what it was this morning and I couldn't believe it. I live in Southern Illinois and I think the usgs says that we're overdue for one.

I didn't. Even though one of my neighbors is the San Andreas fault (part of the separation between the Pacific and North American tectonic plates) I didn't feel a thing. ;) I heard the epicenter of the quake was near Salem, Illinois and that the magnitude was 5.4 so that was another factor in California emerging undamaged from this one. ;)

Yes, I sure did...I felt it much stronger than the ones centered in Illinois late last month. I was getting ready for work, and at 625am I felt what I thought was a huge truck rolling down the street. And immediately realized...that wasn't a damn truck! I felt the vibration and heard all of our windows rattle.
