6 hours ago! had spaghetti Bolognese, and a glass of Sangre del Toro (my fave red wine =) .. we re very into italian cuisine! and I get to spend a lot of time with my mum as well :)

Sept. 29th 07 she cooked my favorite meal the evening before I had to get back on the plane. A certain german stew mmmmm yumm I will get to eat it again in july...CANT WAIT :-)

We had some calamari and a beer about 3 weeks ago. We live close enough, so casual meet-ups like this can happen!

Christmas dinner 2007. She was in a nursing home and they served a traditional ham dinner for the residents and their families. My mom died in January 2008 of colon cancer. I knew she was terminally ill and that would be our last Christmas dinner ever. She was so incredibly brave about her illness. That day she had the nurses help her get ready and she wore her prettiest red blouse and did her hair and make-up nice. She didn't want to ruin anyone else's Christmas. Sorry, to go on so, but this is still fresh in my mind and I miss my mom terribly.

We live in the same house, but since we work such different hours we seldom eat together. I think the last time was on Christmas.
