  • Yes. The procedure generally varies by state, but in colorado you need to file a civil action against whatever body charged you with a crime. You then have to make a showing that your interest in having that section of your record sealed outweighs the law enforcement community's interest in keeping it avaliable. Its generally a lot easier if you're charged but not convicted of a crime.
