I mostly say MEN actually.

<<<< singing>>>> "Don't call me baby!" very good question :) I hear the term "chicks" a lot though. But most off the time its girls, even if they are WOMEN. Interesting.

I always say "guys" just because the men I'm around are teens. If they're older then I call them "men". I call women "girls" but for the same reason.

no its just easy to say am meeting th guys or look at those guys it sounds better in my opinion :0)

Maybe it has something to do with where we are brought up. I say "guys" as much as I say "men." Same with "women" and "gals." People like my dad (who would be almost 81 if he were still with us) ALWAYS said MEN and GIRLS...even if the woman was just a few years younger than him. I don't recall him ever saying women. I loved my dad...but, he had very old-fashioned (if not a little chauvanistic) views about the genders.

I think it has lot to do with what you heard growing up. Also most grown men still do immature things so calling them guys or boys is normal. "One of the guys" or "One of the boys" or "Good ol' boy" By the way "immaturity rules." :) I have been known to call a woman, girl, lady, or ma'am.
