If they are doing this after you are petting them then they are most likely saying thank you. Rabits lick as affection. It could possibly be that you are rather tasty but if they are social with you it is most likely because they see you as being a friend and are just showing their affection for you.

Most rabbit licking is a sign of affection, like when they groom each other. So if you are petting the rabbit, it will lick you back like it was grooming or petting you in return. Or if you stop petting it, it might lick you to ask for you to 'groom' it some more by petting it again.
