I broke into a restaurant at 2am and filled a duffel bag with food from the refrigerator.
So I could have food to eat for a week or two.
There was no family or friends to call, and no one to talk with, so I was trying to survive until I could find a job.

I stole chalk from target when i was 5 years old. I picked up a big container of chalk, the ones you used on driveways, i picked it up and i was skipping out the door, and people saw that i was carrying something that wasn't in a bag and saw that i skipped out happy! I got free chalk! yaaaayy!!!

Technically, I stole a book from the public library. I had checked it out about a month before moving and misplaced it before I ever read it. Years later when I was preparing to move again I found it. I was mortified, and took it back to the library expecting some sort of huge fine. The librarian just said, "thank you." I never did read the book.

I have stolen something. I stole a small smooth round rock that was painted to look like a pink bunny rabbit. I was in 2nd or 3rd grade. I loved and adored this teacher. That was part of my desire. In the end I was caught by my mother who immediately trotted me back down to the school. My teacher, Mrs. Chick was a very kind and gracious woman. Against my mothers wishes, she gave me the rock. I still have it today.

yes, but dont judge me.
when i have to or need to save money, i'll shoplift my lunch from the store across the street. i havent done it yet this new year (mainly b/c security is tight).
i also stole some money from an open lockers at a tennis club i used to go to, i was eventually caught by one person who was pissed b/c apparently i stole from him before when he had a different locker (you'd figure he would've decided locking it!). i was kicked out of the club and paid the guy back and was upfront and told the truth (which i think i should have been able to stay if i wanted). FYI i wasnt stealing the money to buy drugs or anything that i wasn't supposed to be buying, it was just an easy $70. i do regret doing it.
i'll steal when i need or have to. i dont do it too much.
things just happen sometimes and you arent able to stop yourself.
again please dont judge me.

- the club did not reward me...they were happy that i was honest and truthful b/c it could have been a lot harder on them and they did request that i leave the club which i did and i am sad about not playing tennis there anymore....'things just happen sometimes and you arent able to stop yourself.' i realized that i shouldnt have done it and i am sorry about doing it for several reasons. yes i did think that the person might have needed it but if he really did need it he wouldnt have left it in an open locker several times, i am not saying its okay to steal.

- I was a trouble maker and got sent to catholic school, that is were i took the cars. after I did 3 days in jail for each car i was sent to Wyoming girls school were i spentabout 1 yr 3 mth. The first car was park in front of a house i just took it...the second was running out side a bar it was cold outside. Not sure what kind of car the first one was but the second was an something like an eagle not sure who makes that. they were cheap cars nothing to major.

When I was at University, I stole a kiss once. I was mildly intoxicated and there was this girl that I liked. I kissed her on the lips quickly as I walked out of the pub in the basement of the student union. She lived in my dorm down the hall from me, and we both acted like it never happened whenever we saw each other afterward :-(

yes... I actually went back and collected them all and gave the things to the salvation army. there was 8 things but I remember that there was three more things that dissapeared that I did not get rid of... one of which strangely reappeared, and two of which I think was stolen from me, along with way more than what I took. I think there might be some truth to the karma ratio thing.

- Ok then, I was doing a scavenger hunt, for our church group no less, and we stole a flower from the Woolworth's and a mannequin hand from Gaudchaux's. The mannequin was in the front window facing out into the mall. The whole arm came off and we freaked out and took off; but not without grabbing the hand first.

I think there is scarcely a person in the world who has not stolen something in their life, even if they do not remember having done it. It is the nature of humans to think of their own needs above the rights of others. Yes, I have to confess I have stolen. It was wrong and it was a long time ago, when I was another person. I have asked forgiveness for it, and repaid the debt many times, not to earn brownie points with God, but in thankfulness for the new life he has given me.

I stole a book in 2001 when I was travelling around Morocco. Well, he told me to bring it back when I had finished and I knew I was leaving the next morning. So I stole it. But the guilt was too much and I returned to Morocco to hand it back 4 years later....

One summer, I took a pack of grape Bubble Yum from a grocery store when I was about 9-10. My parents never let us have candy and gum except at holidays. There were also a few random pens, pencils and such from work, but they got their share of mine from home too!
