All depends what you like! Joburg is full of great restaurants, ranging from fast food outlets like those mentioned by cletus in his answer, to seriously elegant or trendy places for a special meal. Try http://www.eatout.co.za/ to search for options that interest you. Personally, I strongly recommend Moyo, which has a beautiful, unusual and very African style, while offering a mouthwatering feast of a menu. I've never seen another array of delicious choices that's so tempting and diverse. See http://www.moyo.co.za/ The Zoo Lake Moyo is in an outdoor setting and it's great for kids as well, while the ones in Melrose Arch or the Market Theatre are more sophisticated. It's a very special experience and I can't recommend it enough. If you're into a more trendy vibe, and excellent cocktails and beautiful people sounds like your thing, you'd probably like The Outer Limits, which has great food as well as a great atmosphere.
