Do you look up to people who are a higher level then you?

not because they are higher levels but because of the people they are. just happens that many here are higher level then I.

I don't know about "look up" but I respect them...I also respect others who are lower leveled than I. I don't feel levels "mean" much...it simply shows how much time you spend (waste) here on AB, how addicted you are, and to a certain extent, how helpful your answers/questions are.

No. There are only two people who are at a higher level than me, and I treat them as my equals. Ditto with those who are at lower levels. Some of my hardest questions have been answered by Beginners and Novices.

Not look up to ... appreciate maybe... they have answered questions that I have had. They have just been here longer! Some have been very helpful for many people in the past and they should be thanked for that.

No, someone's level doesn't influence my respect for them. I've been treated nasty by both higher level users and newbies, and also wonderfully by both veterans and newbies. It's all in how they present themselves here, not their level. We were all newbies at one time anyway :)

I Think people in higher level are a good examples of my own potential, and if they are interested in my potential I "Look Up" to them. However Aholes interested only in there own potential that steal your ideas and go running to the boss with them i do not look up to. (these aholes also exist in lower levels). I have since learned to not try to impress anyone. ummm tghanksl for listening.

i think more "respect" but it's got nothing to do with levels so much as the conversations that i've had with them and how they've protrayed themselves to me

No, I think ranks are time served or wasted, depends how you wish to look at it. Everyone is an equal user and gets the respect they earn as a person not a rank or level.

ah, no. There are some major assholes on this website who have MUCH higher levels than me, and some actually quite nice people who are still stuck with that ugly orange badge..

I'm only a little over 5' tall...I look up to everybody.
