I haven't read any of the comics, so perhaps I should just shut up in this debate, but I think he suits the role very well, judging from the trailers :)

I would say yes. Among all the chemicals he has had in his system there must be at least some traces of iron-based ones in there ; ) (Seriously though, I've yet to see any scenes of that movie)

Actually yeah! At first I thought, him? But now that I've seen him in a few scenes, yeah he's totally pulling it off. I'm very excited about this movie.
