  • for instance?
  • I don't do that.
  • Because women are "meek and weak" and require constant saving from the bullying of men!!
  • Tis a victim oriented society and women are seen as the likely ones because historically perhaps they have been.
  • I always listen to both sides of the story and make a judgment from there.
  • After what a former boyfriend had went through. I always have looked at the man's side of the story. For an example: Women are not the only ones who get abused, physically, mentally, emotionally. Men do as well, a man can even be raped. So, no I don't always side with the women. I like to look at both sides.
  • Because, it seems, that today men are being stereotyped as stupid, shallow, lazy and crass. You need look no further than commercials or a comedy for a good example. Al Bundy (Married With Children) and Homer Simpson are earlier examples of this. It was humorous at first but some started thinking that all men are like this. This is being perpetuated by such stupid terms as 'Man Cave' etc. Stereotyping is just wrong no matter if it's men, women, race, age or whatever. "Folks is folks" as they say and all have feelings.
  • I haven't seen any evidence of that, myself.
  • That seems to be a matter of perception.
  • boys rule, girls drool... always
  • Your question has merit. The same reason that females auto insurance rates are cheaper than men. In my experience in law enforcement, i can say this..... Most women are not at-fault in traffic accidents, BUT, most women cause the accidents and leave the scene. I had a very hard time convincing my wife of this, until she and i began taking road trips together and she now sees this for herself. women driver weaving in and out of traffic. mostly young women. I expect a lot of flack from this answer from the women, but i know what i see and the accidents i investigate.
  • why AG ...didn't you know we men are ALWAYS the bastards and no good lazy sons of bitches and ALWAYS in the wrong ...maybe one day females will take their fair share of being the bad guy as quickly as they take the fair share of equality
  • It's always been that way, i never take sides, i always ignore other people's problems.
  • it's easier to see the women as the victim because they are also stereotyped as the weaker gender just as men are stereotyped as the predators. personally i think it's unfair. and my father had an affair, i went through my man hating days, and i've finally seen enough bitchy women in my time to accept the fact that there are some really sucky people in both genders that ruin it for everybody
  • Because women are often seen as weaker, and victimized, I guess. I try to not choose sides based on gender, myself. A guy can be abused by a woman just like a woman can be abused by a guy.
  • I think I probably do the opposite, and tend to side with men, and not women. But I'm an odd duck sometimes.
  • One moment please...as a minority in my field of usual males siding with females is at least not the norm. We habitualy (in my field) are considered "something to deal with in this day and age." Especialy if we have a brain and some guts. Siding with females to me is considered a dish ....nothing more than its not worth the time to try to explain something that they possibly couldnt understand, although There are a few guys out there who are a pleasure to work with, its actually not as difficult as it was a few years ago. Hope I'm not ranting......
  • Because women have to take care of children, husbands, the housework, the household bills, grocery shop, help the kids with homework and activites, shop for everyones clothes. A woman that truly takes care of her family has no time for herself. Thank god people tend to take our side.
  • Because they cry about it and blame it on their "horrible" childhood on national tv.
  • 2nd answer...... Today. i was on the interstate and clocked a young woman going 98 mph in a 65 mph zone. The speed was bad enough, until she started to swerve in between cars, causing the other drivers to hit their brakes, in order to avoid a collision with her vehicle. I followed this vehicle for two miles, before she finally pulled to the curb. She was 21 and late for a school class. She cried and boohooed for 30 minutes as i wrote her a state citation for reckless driving. What will this cost her? about $1,200.00 I did not side with her, just like i do not side with men. i play right down the middle. She more than deserved this citation.
  • I agree that man-bashing is a popular sport with women nowadays, but its not like women don't take crap too. Women still don't get paid as much as men do, and their are still "stupid-women" jokes and have been for as long as I can remember. I think that in serious situations, both sides should be considered before passing judgment, both women AND men have the right to file for and obtain a restraining order. But as far as sexist jokes, its all just retribution for the pat's on the ass, wheres my dinner, stupid woman driver kind of BS that is not a past-tense for women. As a woman in a mans field of work, trust me, we are still treated inferior.
