in the literal sense yes weed is a drug. in the sense of it being as harmful or addictive as anything else you might compare it to? nope not at all... actually comes in quite a bit lower than caffeine on the scale of addictiveness :P

No not really, i guess you can look at it as a drug because it can be used as medicine but people cant even really get addicted and even if you grow a dependence to it there is virtually no withdrawl symtoms after quitting, maybe some irraitabilty at first but no different than if a regular coffee drinker were to suddently stop drinking coffee, it can be used to help soften withdrawls of hard drugs.
