With my last two pregnancies I got pregnant on the pill. What are the chances of that, Yaz and ortho tri cyclin. My family thinks im doing this on purpose but im not missing any pills?? Please help..

The chances of your becoming pregnant twice while taking birth control pills are astronomical. While it's not entirely impossible, it is so improbable that you are either doing something wrong or there is something wrong with your body.

It happens. Some people's bodies are just different thats all. Resign yourself to the fact that they dont work on you. One pregancy...ok, two pregnancies... understandable... Three pregnancies...get a clue.

Condoms, injections, implants, there are a range of other alternatives open to you. Talk to your doctor. I think so far the implanon is working at about 100% success rate.

I got pregnant twice on birth control also. It does happen to people. Your family is not going to understand. It is not their body. Make sure y ou use extra protection. Your chances of getting pregnant again are high. I see and ob/gyn who specializes in people who get pregnant on birth control. It's not yur fault. Like I said, use extra protection if you don't want to increase your chances of getting pregnant.

It is possible and your doctor should be addressing this. Not all medications work for everyone. Speak openly with your doctor about this. I have a cousin who had 5 babies while on the pill.

I got pregnant with my daughter on the pill but it was because I had to take a antibotic for a eye infection. Anti biotic cancelle out the effects of the pill....might this be the case for you?

Maybe you got some defective batch of pills or sommeone took the active pills and mixed them up with the placebos.

Your pills are most probably not effective on your body.

I got pregnant with the baby I have now. I was on YAZ also. I took all my pills but, didn't use a condom. Your not the only one. I guess use a condom!

If I were your doctor, I would have had you on something else as soon as your first pregnancy was over. Perhaps you should consider using condoms in addition to any other method, chemical or otherwise. Unless you enjoy unplanned pregnancies.
