Fervent belief in The Great Pumpkin and that Lucy won't trick him again..I would say I suffer from Charley Brown Syndrome and thank you for putting a name to my condition...keeping the faith, hoping..no, believing that people are good, they won't let you down (even though they repeatedly have)..naive, ingenuous, trusting, hopeful..maybe geeky deep down..kinda lonesome sometimes! :)

when all you hear is wawawawawwa (like the teacher on Charle Brown cartoon show) bc you realy dont want to hear them. Like 'blah blah blah'. I caught the Charlie Brown Syndrome yesterday. My mother-in-law kept going on and on about her shoes that I truly didnt hear one clear word.
Why in the old Peanuts cartoons the teacher doesn't speak English but instead speaks in an alien language that sounds like "gwaku gwa gwaka gwaka gwa"?
