Anything with Ginger in it helps, and mint. I don't recommend the meds from over counter. I took the liquid kind, lets just say it was the weirdest puke I have ever had...:)

Stay away from strong smells. Any smell can tringer feeling sick. Also drink with a straw that really helped me. Ginger Ale also helps, or anything gingery really. Try and eat food without alot of flavours. So really blend tastless foods. IT normally speaking should stop soon though, at 12 weeks. Ofcourse each pregnancy is different, as you noticed. Good luck. Little tip, my husbands perfume really made me feel sick, so if you eliminate everything but still dont understand why your feeling sick, it might be that.

Oh, I feel your pain. I had MS for the first trimester, and lost 14 lbs. (I'm now 27 weeks along, and just BARELY over my pre-preggo weight) Mine was so bad, I was throwing up ginger tea and saltine crackers. The best thing to do is try ANY protein you can hold down. Believe it or not, Slim Fast drinks are GREAT if you can hold them down. The trick to slim-fast is the protein content, so even if you're not getting a ton of calories, you're still getting protein. I pretty much lived on spoonfuls of peanut butter for a good month or so. It was all I could hold down. Best of luck! I hope yours gets better REALLY quick!

have you tried ginger biscuits my daughter swore by them.

With all three of mine, I was awful sick for about the first three months. There was absolutely nothing I could do. I didn't eat much more than mashed potatoes without gravy. Ginger, crackers, cola....none of that helped me at all! I know this isn't very promising...sorry, but it is temporary!

Eat saltine crackers before you get out of bed. And drink water. Ginger is a natural anti nausea suppliment. Ginger ale does NOT have real ginger in it. You can buy pills or get natural ginger ale. It is more expensive, but it is real. Eat bland foods. You shouldn't have too much longer. MS usually goes away after the 1st trimester. If it gets too bad ask your doc for phenergan(fen-er-gan)suppositories.(if you can't hold things down) or pills if you can hold it down.

Don't risk taking any tablets nothing is truly safe. My suggestion is to get a pair of travel bands from the pharmacy. They really work. If you have never heard of them, they are a band like a sweat band, with a button on them which you place over pressure points in just above the wrist. They have no side affects, are not toxic and can be worn for hours on end. My daughter swore by them during her pregnancy and she suffered morning, noon and night sickness right through the pregnancy, but was fine when wearing the bands. If it's any consolation, sickness is a good sign of a healthy pregnancy, it means your hormones are very high and a miscarriage is very unlikely :)

I am 11 weeks and this pregnancy is so different to my 1st as weird as it may sound i eat ice lollys to keep the ms away and it works (for me) all the best with the rest of the pregancy :)

Nibbling crystallized ginger (and any other ginger flavored tea, cookies, candy) works for me. One of the books I got say peppermint flavored tea works for some people, it helped me for only a couple of weeks then it became useless; but crystallized ginger really helps me.

There is a lot of good answers here. The nausea gets better, so hang in there.

You just gotta make it to 12 weeks, and it rather miraculously goes away for a wonderful second trimester. You are so close!!

My wife had it really bad. She used these things called prego-drops I think, she said it helped. It looks just like a throat drop. They made lolly-pops too I believe. She got them from the motherhood store,
