Today the trolls were -5ing many users. They maybe in the sage or further levels. They are now matured in AB. Won't they know it's wrong to do that?

Some people go through emotional issues and find strange ways to work it out. Maybe they were having a bad day and took it out that way. Better that way then to be destructive, against someone else or themselves.

G'day MN, Thanks for your question. I notice that occasionally. Trolling doesn't worry me as it doesn't affect my points tally and it usually doesn't have any rhyme or reason. They generally get tired of it after a while. Regards

You know, downrating isn't necessarily trolling. Just as a positive rating indicates that you appreciate a question or an answer or agree with what someone has stated, so a negative rating can be a way of expressing that you disagree or find the question or answer to be without value.

They don't care. They don't answer and ask to be productive. They only do it to be troublesome. This can be people who ask questions and answer them in such a way that they are borderline offensive but not quite so they get to remain on AB. They are people who are very nice to you in person and then DR anonymously, two faced. What do they think they are accomplishing by doing that? I'm not sure. I don't understand that mind, it's not mine.

Of course they don't know it's wrong. The true troll is a spineless coward, obviously leading a pathetic life and bitter and hateful for whatever reason. Too bad they can't be more productive and try to make friends and provide decent Q&A here. When they do have the nerve to post their hate, they will get reported/flagged. I see here and there a few times a week that I will get DRd a lot...and a lot of the times, for completely innocent questions. I'm a regular target, but I don't let them bother me. I know they aren't worth it.
