Question

Help answer this question below.

My Sanyo TV has a "dark red" tint to it. The picture itself also is pretty dark and I cannot get normal color tones. Adjusting the different levels doesn't help. What could be the problem?

You might also want to see what is nearby your TV. Some speakers and amps, and anything that has magnets can cause color change. Move things around to make sure thats not the problem.

I don't have any TV knowledge - that is, other than having watched too much of it in this life - but I'd say it's done and time for a new one.

You don't say how old your TV is, but a few years ago mine was doing the same thing. I'd adjusted every level to the extreme, but eventually gave up trying to watch it. It had served me well, for about 10 years, so it wasn't such a hardship.

Unless you have technical knowledge, there's no value in fixing anything electric anymore. Any repairs cost as much as a new one. You'd probably be better off spending your money on getting something new.
