Can you honestly say you answer AB questions, the way you feel is right and not to get an applause as if you were on Oprah. Applause would be the points you get for an answer that you think people want to hear.

I always answer honestly. i do care about points, but think that my opinion is worth way more than points. In fact, I should be charging y'all for getting my opinion now!

I answer them honestly, even though that doesn't always get me a good response. *shrug* People ask questions, they should expect answers.

On my scout's honor, I have always endeavored to answer AB questions in a way I feel right. My basic principle has always been and will always to maintain my yes be yes and my no no.

I often answer in a comedic or sarcastic way because that is my true personality. On the serious answers, I always answer with true honesty. Can I have my points now?

I answer questions honestly on here. If I get points, cool. If I don't, whatever. Points are nice to get, but they aren't a requirement.

I answer AB questions the way I feel is right. I do try not to get down on the person asking the question. I guess the only thing I am guilty of is sometimes answering from my heart more then my head.

I do not care about points. If I did, my answers would be a lot shorter. I would also answer more questions then I do if I only wanted points. Having said that, I do enjoy receiving points when I give a good answer.

I think it is most rewarding when people leave comments thanking me for my answer. Often when I get a "thank you," it comes with little or no points. I still value the positive comments the most of all, though.

I am glad to be a part of the AB community. I learn a lot and share what I know, as well. I always look forward to logging on to the AB website.

I guess if someone is that desperate for points he would do that...

but I like to believe people like that tend to spontaneously burst into flames.

it helps me sleep at night.

I not only answer questions on AB, I also answer questions on site that don't give point, so I can honestly say yes.

When do we get to go on Oprah?

I say what I feel like saying at the time - the only person I "pander" to is myself.

I answer questions here like I answer questions everywhere - honestly and frankly. If it's a silly question I can be just as silly, if it is deadly serious than I too will be as serious.

I never play for any audience except for me and the person who asked the question....if they like my answer I am pleased, if they don't then I'm not worried about it because I always "call them as I see them", no more - and no less.

I never "pander for points", I am where I am now points wise because I am honest and somewhat colorful in my answers I give. Some people like what I say, and a small few don't, and to both groups I say, thank you - but what they do is their business and not mine, and I have no intent of keeping them from exercising their right of free speech, and I will not stand for anyone disregarding my right to do the same.

The only issue I have is with detractors who down rate answers only because there ideology is different than yours - when did having differing opinions on a subject become a bad thing anyway? And who would be so narrow minded as to censure an honest opinion given openly on a "take it or leave it" basis? The only answer I can see is these are mere children and not fully functioning adults who would do such a thing, and they lack the character to even explain why they felt the need to down rate in the first place.

I am here for my own amusement and to honestly help others - I expect no prize for my efforts other than a smile or two and the occasional "thank you". To that end I post this and all my other answers here in this forum, I need nothing more than that as my reward.

    Thank you.
