He came around last night and I got an ice cream sandwich which is my favorite. Hate the music.

Yup! I am instantly transported to 1978. I love to see my kids' faces light up when they hear it.

I feel like pavlov's dogs who start drooling when they hear that bell every time I hear that tune from the ice cream truck!

I have always liked the sound, it brought back wonderful memories.

I will not get to hear it anymore. Just a couple of weeks ago the couple that ran the local ice cream trucks announced that they are selling the trucks because gas prices are to high for them to continue. That is sad.

I look out the window to see if any kids run out, but the ice cream truck goes by too fast. He might as well turn the sound off.

    Yarnlady is happy every day

Yes. The main difference is when I hear the music it makes me sad, because I have read that the food might not be safe to eat. I keep ice cream bars in my freezer, along with polar ices, so I won't be too disappointed.
