How long do you think it will take for television stations like The History Channel and the National Geographic Channel to start airing mindless garbage like most of the other stations do?

The History channel has already jumped the shark and changed their name to History. They wanted to go in a new direction so they could air mindless garbage. Hence the appearance of shows such as Ice Road Truckers, (The lumberjack show, sorry I can't remember the name), and the other mindless dribble that seems to be eminating from one the most entertaining channels on television.
