  • Because they only carry cheap and inexpensively made products to cater to the less wealthy crowd. Nike wouldn't be a good alternative to their knockoff items that they usually carry because, yes, people would buy it, but even more people wouldn't buy it because it it considered closer to luxury than thier usual brands. Plus, people who buy products at Wal-Mart(not to stereo-type, I shop there too), are looking for "cheap" items and "good deals". Not for name brand apparel. Most other stores do carry cheaper items and Nike and Adidas brands also, such as ShopKo. I can see why you are pondering this. Hope this will help.
  • They cost too much for walmart. there would be no....low price...always, for sale to the public. the name of the game is to buy low and sell high....profit.
  • According to Nike, it does not sell its products in Wal-Mart and has long argued that its brand would be devalued if sold in discount chains.
