acceptable or not, if it's clean and I can wear it (which is the deciding factor) I will wear it.. It must be nice to have enough clothes NOT to have to wear white after Labor Day
I believe the rule pertains to white shoes, ties and belts etc. It is considered gaudy attire for reasons of etiquette.
There is no rule. white is now worn anytime, any place and anywhere. according to my wife.
White sneakers are really good to wear in the snow.
Whatever "floats your boat", I say! I DON'T give a DAMN about ANY "rule" on it! I like it! I wear it!
There are none for me.
