  • I have an A4 2005 no problems with mine so far, the maintainence hasn't been bad. I think in 2000 there was a change to the A4's.
  • I had a 1998 version, same as your hear about most Audi's, fantastic when they are running right but a pain in the ass when they go wrong. But its worth it! If you look after them they just keep on going and as their kind of a mid range vehicle of the VW group the purchasing prices generally aren't that bad.
