If I write once on DVD-R, can I again add the data in that DVD-R, assuming that I have not closed or finalised?

    You can add data or contiune a 'multi-session' disk as long as you have enabled 'multi-session' when you first burned data onto the disk. Software like Nero allows you to do this for both CDs and DVDs. Just remember to check "refresh disk contents" when you continue a disk or the earlier files will be gone.
