  • They eat baby mice. Don't use all caps, it's considered shouting. :)
  • Depending on how big they are, you get the frozen mice - they come in fuzzy & pinky which I think are pre born & just born - very small. My kings favorite treat though, is lizards. However, I don't think they can eat those until probably about 6 months. Careful at feeding time, mine will leap out anything moving when she realizes she is getting fed, so fingers need to be removed quickly! I LOVE watching the kill though!!
  • Indigenous crackhouse mouse
  • They eat animals smaller than they are. Please take it back to the store if you didn't think to ask that before you got it, or release it if it's wild.
  • I've had my baby since he was a hatchling, approx. 5 wks. old & at that time he was eating small pinkies (just born). I ONLY use thawed frozen mice, never live. Just make sure they are warmed to mammalian body temperature,in warm water,NEVER the microwave! My snake is now 15 mos old & he is eating fuzzies, fully haired mice, but eyes still closed. He's just about ready for hoppers, the next size up. Check out food suppliers in Reptiles Magazine. Any will give you quotes on what you need for the size of your snake. Good luck!
