It could mean, this person has come to a bypass, a middle of the road in their life, where time alone is needed to think things out.
When people become unfocused on life and its events, this thought of needing to find themselves occurs.
A major event, in someones life, can be devastating. this again, could be a reason for someone needing to find themselves.
You question could have many possible answers, depending on the situation at hand. john
They realise that what they seem is either not what they feel they are or not what they want to be percieved as. They find themselves by changing how they seem or how they are to become who they really are or who they want to be.
It means that he or she wishes to find himself or herself. I personally want to find myself because I don't feel like I completely know myself.
When a Person Wishes to Find Her/Himself, it's probably because he/she don't know who he/she is.. He/she has had so many ´different characters that she/he has lost track of who she/he really is. like for example in school, You act one way to your friends and another way when you get home... and If someone you don't like steps up to you (like an annoying relative) you don't go telling them off, no you smile and nod and act as if you care what they say... but the answer to those who wish to find themselves is simple, The real you always comes out after all of your friends and/or relatives has gone back homr, and you are alone...
to know more about self.if she/he accept and like own with this, she /he can step next stage-love/accept others.you are half way to meet your love
It means some hippy thinks that there is more to himself than his body so he smokes 12kg of weed and goes looking for it
I think it is often young adults that have this feeling. I would say it would mean a person perhaps travelling abroad & going into unfamiliar situations to force them to deal with handling new problems, scenarios, people, places etc. Thus they become more 'worldly', confident & knowlegeable. They learn from/in these situations as opposed to staying in a routine and comfortable lifestyle and thus 'grow'. So as they grow, they 'find' themselves by coping with strange & unusual situations. Thats my two cents anyways.
How does one lose themself? This meaning "find oneself." I have never understood it. You live with yourself, how can you not "know yourself." You must have some really serious issues if you don't know "Who you are." It seems more like an excuse making mission than anything else.
