What is better, a BTEC National Diploma in Production Arts (Make-up & Design) or a VTCT Level 3 Hair Design & Media Make-Up Course?

I can't compare, but I'm currently doing the BTEC and it's good experience, if you're good with ideas. Where I study, the make-up is solely for theatre, and "Media make-up" in the VTCT seems to imply make up for film, and documentary etc. That's a huge difference, so it depends if you prefer/want to work in a theatrical environment. Also, the makeup in film and news/documentary is going to be naturalistic and basic touch ups, where as theatre design has the opportunity to be more creative with designing.
