That is pretty interesting. Mac OS X’s system-wide spell-check recognizes it, too.

I can easily believe it - Firefox's spell checker doesn't even recognise its own name.

Hi, Kev..of course this question pulls me in like a magnet since I use that word all the time whenever I can talk myself into thinking it fits! However, I'm not sure if I ever spell it the same way twice..in any case, Firefox may not be "hip, hep, cool, with it"..or, perhaps like many of our moderators who brand a question "nonsense", Firefox doesn't "get it" and thus refuses to acknowledge it! :(
