No - but you could probably set a password on your BIOS settings - this means you would have to type this password in to do ANYTHING on your PC.

WARNING: fiddling with the BIOS is something you should only do if you feel confident doing it - the potential is there to mess your machine up in such a way that it doesn't boot up at all....

    1. Switch the machine on - while it's counting it's memory and/or detecting hardware you can normally access the BIOS by hitting DELETE or F1 or something (it normally tells you what to press on the boot-up screen)

    2. All BIOSes are different - once you get to it try finding a startup password option to set. Be careful! Don't change any other settings unless you know what you are doing.
There is normally some help displayed on-screen showing you want buttons to press to do what.

    3. Set a startup password and save your settings.

    4. Every time you boot your machine up you will be prompted to type a password before it does anything.

    5. Don't forget your password....!

You could write a password batch program but they are usually easy to get around or a DOS Locker Password Program but I haven't seen one of those in years, better to use the BIOS password, and a pad lock on the case as this password to can be also be reset from within the case ..

Buzby b is right , however MAKE SURE to write down the password and store it in a safe place, if you forget it, there will be no way whatsoever to boot up your machine, short of replacing the BIOS chip or sending the thing down to the factory to have it erased and reprogrammed.
