Pre-school, possibly. "Play goups" and "play dates" were invented by the yuppie generation of the 80's. Since Johnny was an adult by this time, it is unlikely he attended one.

There was no such thing as even pre-school in owensboro Kentucky back then. Back then, kindergarten was even optional. Play groups? Who says play groups? We are talking way back friend. I grew up there, with jon. Oboro' was not the happening place. Pretty much there was church,bbq,farming,family,and a little rebellion here and there.
