My Doctor told me that my liver was far to healthy. And that my kidneys could use some damage also. He also said that I drive way to slow. It's funny but my wife has told me the same things. They are very close friends and spend a lot of time togather.

I almost never drink, but the occasional binge serves to forget overwhelming things that may happen at one point. Never tried to hide it.
-
Because it's fun, as long as you're reasonably careful. It's a way of intentionally throwing away restraint and inhibition, which I think we all need once in a while. Plus, being drunk seems to always result in some pretty interesting adventures and good stories to tell, as long as I can remember what I got up to.
-
Because I am an idiot.
-
Because I started the bad habit out of depression. Ironically, now that I don't feel depressed, I still drink. :-0

It happens to me by accident, sort of. I love to drink wine, I like the taste, and having a glass of good wine with a meal makes it a more enjoyable occasion. Then I have another glass of wine afterwards, or two and that's when it happens. I have become drunk.

I used to have lots of good reasons to drink. Now, I have lots of good reasons not too. I admit, I miss drinking sometimes, though.
-
the fedreral reserve...interest bearing currency...the root of all evil! theres no way out! might as well enjoy the ride!
-
I don't. I haven't ever had a reason, even when I did drink (back in my teens). Now I see no reason to participate in such an (expensive!!!) activity since is serves no purpose.
-
I do not get drunk no more. Can not stand the hangover.
-
I'm 45 and have never been drunk...and am not a nerd. I have a glass of wine with my wife in the evening ever so often. But why overdo a good thing? It kills brain cells and hurts the liver. You only get one body.
